Clint Dempsey … 29 Seconds

Today was an epic day in the world of US Soccer. Clint Dempsey scored the fifth fasted goal in World Cup History. His goal was scored in the first minute of the game with just 29 seconds having ticked off the clock. The US went on to beat Ghana (A team that has eliminated them from the past two World Cups) with a 2-1 win. Fans around the country endured a nail-biting game but in the end it was the USA and the chants of “I Believe That Will Win” that prevailed. This piece was inspired by the game and created for the Captain of the USMNT, Clint Dempsey.
